Looking for a different way to say "I love you" this February? Give a gift in honor of someone special in your life and show that you "have a heart."

You may choose to designate your gift to one of the programs below that help people age successfully in our community. SCI will display the names of donors and their tributes on die-cut hearts that will decorate the front lobby of its headquarters located at 3025 Bull Street.

  • Meals on Wheels -- delivers a hot, nutritious lunch by a friendly volunteer

  • Sterling Rides -- offers free transportation to and from doctors' offices, the grocery store, church and more for seniors who can no longer drive themselves.

  • Adult Daytime Care -- provides all-day care for frail seniors including those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia and offers much-needed respite for caregivers.

  • Senior Companions -- assists with care in the home to help with daily life in three distinct areas: personal care assistance, nursing services, homemaker services and companionship.
